A couple of random photos taken from home, and a street photography workshop

I attended one of the workshops on street photography offered by Willy-Brandt-Haus, mostly out of curiosity because that issue is so controversial and contentious in Germany, and perhaps especially in Berlin also sometimes confrontational.

We were told that as long as you insist that it is art, everything is allowed, accoding to a “Bundesgesetz”. Hmmm. That collides with the data protections laws which everybody refers to. In addition to the EU data protections laws introduced about ten (?) years ago, Germany has their own which are even stricter.

Anyway, I am not that interested in photographing people, but did take these during the workshop, which was interesting in other ways. It is always good to be reminded what to do, what not to do, and what to look for in terms of composition etc.
